Plugins add looks, captions, paper and tracking to a project. Templates are whole videos you start from and change. Components are single pieces, such as a chart, a grid or a background.

Every template, component and taste installs with npx kinetograph add <name>. Plugins install from npm: npm install @kinetographdev/<name>.

A 39 second history explainer in the collage taste: dolly-throughs on old maps, taped photos on kraft paper, posters, a portrait montage, and clouds over a city plan.

An old film fades up as a field of soft ink dots and pushes slowly in.

  • Grid opener

A 3 by 3 grid sits over every shot.

  • App save reel

A 39 second app reel: a post is liked and saved, the save gets lost in the collection, and a reminder brings it back.

  • Stacked credits

Three stacked double-exposure panels on black, two shots cut hard, credits fading in and a film burn out.

  • Three phones fanned out

Three tilted phones fan out on an arc from the centre one.

  • Phone with a pitch

A headline, a line of body text and a button sit beside a phone that lands with a settle.

  • Phone tunnel

Phones recede down a corridor on either side of a headline.

  • Laptop opening

A 3D laptop lid opens, the screen wakes, and the camera moves into the app.

  • Touch to the next screen

A finger presses a button and the next screen opens outward from the touch point.

  • Checkout push

A phone checkout where the amount lands and the camera pushes in.

  • Wallet count-up

A wallet balance counts up beside a stack of payment cards.

  • Send button zoom-out

A send button zooms out to show the whole app around it.

  • Year recap dial

A year in review on a dial that snaps month by month, with a sticker for each.

  • Prompt intro

An arrow shrinks and slides left, a prompt types on beside it, then deletes itself into the next line under a blue flash.

  • App launch film

A 21 second launch film for an app, in six beats: a typed question, a chat bar drawn on by guide lines, a wall of screens, and a closing mark.

Square covers sit on a ring that grows from tiny to large as it turns.

Covers wind inward on a spiral.

  • U-shaped carousel

Covers are filed into a U and sit askew, like prints that have been handled.

  • Card rail

  • Spinning card ring

A 3D ring of tall cards spins to rest on one, which steps forward with its name.

Nine photos spiral in around a title and settle on an ellipse.

  • Radar chart

A radar chart fills in axis by axis as the camera circles it, then a second series springs open.

  • Ring chart

Rings fill one at a time with the camera riding each head, then it pulls back on the whole chart.

  • Funnel chart

A funnel blooms stage by stage as the camera moves down it and each number counts up.
